Recruitment of Havildar Education in the Army Educational Corps in Group ‘X’ and ‘Y’

Havildar Education in Group ‘X’ and ‘Y’ are to be recruited for the army Education corps to impart education to troops. 

Applications are invited from male candidates for recruitment as Havildar (Education) in Group ‘X’ and ‘Y’ in the Army Educational Corps of Indian Army :

  • Havildar Education Corps in Group X and Y : 178 posts (Science- 110, Arts – 168), Age : 20 to 25 years as on 07/03/2011, Educational : Group X – BA, B.Ed. or B.Sc. B.Ed. or BCA B.Ed. or MA or M.Sc or MCA. from any recognised university. Group Y – BA or B.Sc.or BCA  without B.Ed. from any recognised university. The candidates should have working knowledge of either english or Hindi or both. Also in the graduation at least two of the following subjects should be at the graduation level : B.Sc. / BCA – Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Electronics, Computer Science, BA – English Literature, Hindi Literature, Urdu Literature, History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, Psychology, Mathematics, Sociology, Pay Scale : PB-1 Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay Rs.2800 plus Millitary Service Pay Rs.2000 + X Group pay Rs.1400/-
  • Selection Procedure : first there will a screening of the candiddates for (i) Physical fitness Test and (ii) Medical Standards and (iii) those candidates selected in the screening and are medically fit will be permitted to apear in the written examination which will be conducted on at HQ Recruiting Zone/ IRO Delhi Cantt on 31/07/2011. After this written examination those who will be declared successfull in the written exam will called for interview and training aptitude test at Panchmarhi (MP)
    Candidates are required to submit their duly filled application Form along with all required documents as per he format duly suprscribed ” APPLICATION FOR HAVILDAR EDUCATION” on the top outer cover of the envelope to the Headquater Recruitment Zone/ IRO Delhi Cantt of which the individual is domicile of and that he has to appear for written examination from same HQ Recruitment Zone only.

Indian Army Become a Junior Commission Officer (JCO) (Religious Teacher) in the Army (RT Pandit, RT Padre and RT Bodh Monk)

Applications are invited from male candidates only for recruitment as Junior Commissioned Officer (Religious Teacher) for RRT 66 course in the Indian Army who fulfill the following eligibility criteria for RT Puandit, Granthi and Boddh Monk :

JCO Religious Teacher : 40 posts (Pandit-27, Padre-10, Bodh Monk-03)

  • Qualification : The minimum educational qualification for appointment will be graduation in any discipline from a recognised university. In addition they must alsp possess one of the following qualification accding to the religious denomination of the individuals (see detailed adv.).
  • Age : 27-34 years  and 25-25 for remustered candidates.
  • Physical Standard: As applicable to the regular army [Height-155cm, Weight-50Kg, Chest – 77 cm, Candidate should be able to run one mile in eight minutes.
  • Pay Scale : JCO will get the pay scale of Naib Subedar of Rs. 9300-34800/-

Indian Army NCC Special Entry Scheme 30th Course October-2011 Short Service Commission (SSC) (Non-Technology) (OTA, Chennai) for Male & Female

The Indian Army is looking for a few good Men and Women. For the best and the brighest amongst you. For men/women with intellect, idealism and courage.

Applications are invited from unmarried/married male and unmarried female or widow of defence candidates for for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in the Indian Army.

Vacancies : 58 posts [50 posts (10% reserved for wards of Battle Casualties of Army only) for male and 08 posts for women]

  • Age : Not below 19 years and not over 25 years (not born earlier than 02 July 1986 and not later than 01 July 1992)

The Criteria of NCC ‘C’ Certificate holders to appear directly for SSB for SSC (Non-Technical) at Officers Training Academy, Chennai :

(i) Educational Qualification : Degree of a recognised University or equivalent with aggregate of minimum 50% marks taking into account marks of all years.

(ii) Service in NCC : Should have served for minimum two academic years in the senior Division of NCC (iii) Grading : Should have minimum of ‘B’ Grade in ‘C’ Certificate Exam of NCC.

Wards of Battle Casualties : Holding of NCC ‘C’ Certificate at the time of filling of applications not required. Wards of Battle Casualties send their applications direct to Addl. Dte. Gen of Recruiting, Recruiting NCC Entry, West Block-III, R.K. Puram, New Delhi-110066. A letter to the effect that the parent has been killed/ wounded/ reported missing in action issued by MP/Dte/ Respective Regimental Records and a copy of Part II Order notifying injuries and being classified as Battle Casualtieis in case of Service/Medically boarded out pers. Last date for receipt of application at Rtg Dte 15/02/2011 for this category.

Pay Scale & Stipend : Stipend during the period of training is Rs.21000/-. On completion they will be commissioned as Lt in the pay scale of Rs.15600-39100 wth Grade Pay 5400 and MSP Rs.6000/- and other allowances.

Method of Selection : All Applications in the prescribed format will be forwarded to Rtg. Directorate (NCC) through HQ DG NCC. The NCC Units/GP HQs will forward the applications to State Directorates who in turn will forward the same to Hq DG NCC. On arrival at the SSB, the Shortlisted candidates will be administered stage-1 of the two stage testing procedure.

Medical Examination : Candidates recommended by the SSB will go under Medical Examination by a Board of Service Medical Officers.

How to Apply: Apply on the plain paper as per the prescribed format. Applications should be posted to the Units from where the NCC ‘C’ certificate has been issued. Applications of candidates serving in the Armed Forces duly counter-signed by the commanding Officer should be sent to the OC, NCC West Block- IV , R.K. Puram, New Delhi – 110066. All NCC units will forward the application to DDG, NCC of the concerned state. DDG NCC will process all applications and forward them to Dte Gen NCC.
