1. Lecturer in Education (OBC) reserved for blind and low vision (1):
Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 + Rs. 6000/- AGP
Qualification – First class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology/Masters Degree in Engineering/Technology/Technical Education desirable or First Class Master’s Degree in Education with specialization in Education Technology(with science background) Ph.D. in Education desirable.

2. Programmer(1):Reserved for Persons with Loco-Motor disabilities.
Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 + Rs. 5400/- GP 
Qualification - First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering/Technology or First Class Master of Computer Application (MCA) degree, one year experience in web based application development, client/server based application development, Management Information System.
Desirable: Good knowledge of Computer Hardware. Experience in installation configuration, administration and maintenance of network operating systems (Linux/Windows Server), IIS Server/Apache Server.

3. Computer Operator(1): Reserved for Hearing Impaired
Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 + Rs. 4200/- GP
Qualification –  A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Computer Applications with minimum 3 years experience in installation, configuration & working with different computer system software/application software. Desirable: Familiarity with preventive maintenance of Computer Systems. Experience in configuring system over LAN. Working Knowledge in Intranet & Internet.

4. Hindi Translator (1) Reserved for Loco-motor Disability
Scale -  : Rs. 5200-20200+Rs. 2800 GP
Qualification - Master’s degree in any subject with Hindi and English as compulsory/elective subjects at degree level OR Bachelor’s degree of a recognized University with Hindi and English as compulsory/elective subjects or either of the two as medium of examination and the
other as a compulsory/elective subject plus a recognized diploma/certificate course in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa. Two years experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice-versa in central/state Govt. office or undertaking or a technical institution/organization. Desirable: Recognized diploma /Certificate in translation. Experience of English and Hindi Typing, Word processing and proof reading.

5. Junior Stenographer (2): Reserved for Blind & Low Vision and Locomotor Disability respectively and one of the posts reserved for OBC also
Scale Rs. 5200-20200+2400 GP
Qualification – should have at least second division pass in higher secondary school certificate or equivalent examination from recognized Board/Institution. Should have speed in English Shorthand of 80 W.P.M. and 40 W.P.M. English Typing on manual/electronic typewriter and computer. Experience of at least one year. Desirable: Bachelor’s Degree in any branch. Proficiency in Hindi Stenography/typewriting. Skills in using Hindi Software on computers.

6. General Fitter (1): Reserved for Hearing impaired person
Scale Rs. 5200-20200+1900 GP
Qualification –  Recognized Certificate from an ITI in Fitting. Experience of 2 years in fitting-cum-assembly-cum-cleaning work in engineering laboratory/workshop/industry.

7. Peon-cum-Block Servant (1):Reserved for Hearing impaired person
Scale Rs. 4440-7440+1300 GP
Qualification: Literate with 1 year experience. Middle school pass will be preferred.

8. Helper (1): Reserved for Loco-motor Disability
Scale – Rs. 4440-7440+1300 GP
Qualification – Preferably middle school pass with 1 year experience in a laboratory or maintenance section of Govt. of Semi-Govt. organization/institution.

Faculty Positions at IIIT Delhi

Applications are invited for faculty positions as regular and visiting faculty at Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Delhi, a state University through an Act of Delhi Govt.

• Regular Faculty : The positions will be at all levels – Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor. For an Assistant Professor position, it is PhD (in computer science/Computer Engineering or an allied discipline), plus three years experience. However, for PhDs from a well known University/Institute (e.g. IITs/IISc/TIFR/ISI in India or well known research universities across the world), and a good research/academic record, the 3 years experience requirement may be waived. An outstanding scientist/ engineer who does not have a PhD but has made significant contributions in R&D could also be considered. The pay scale for faculty will be the same as IIT pay scales.
• Visiting Faculty : Eligibility criteria for these positions: currently occupying academic positions in highly reputed academic or R&D institutions, or an R&D position in industry.
