Educational Qualifications : Any of the following
- BE/B.Tech. in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical from an instituttion recognised by AICTE.
- Post Graduate Degree in Electronics / Physics from a recognised university.
Physical Standards : Hight and Wieght : Minimum height – 157 cms. The minimum acceptable visIon standard for distant vision 6/60, 6/60 correctable to 6/6, 6/12 with glasses. Should not be colour blind.

Eligibility Conditions:
- Age : Between 19-1/2 to 25 years (candidates to be born between 02 January 1986 to 01 July 1991 both dates inclusive)
- Educational Qualifications : Science Graduate with minimum 60% marks in Physics, Mathematics or Electronics OR Post Graduate in Science with minimum 55% marks in Physics, Mathematics or Electronics. (Those who have not complete their Degree, need not apply).
Pay Scale : PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs.5400 + MSP Rs.6000

Eligibility Conditions:
- Age : Between 19 to 24 years (candidates to be born between 02 July 1987 to 01 July 1992; both dates inclusive)
- Educational Qualifications : Applicant should be studying in AICTE approved College/Institution with one of the following disciplines and should have obtained a minimum of 60% aggregate marks till pre final year (Those in the final years need not apply)
- Physical Standards : Hight and Wieght : Minimum height Male – 157 cms and Female – 152 cms with correlated weight. Eye Sight – 6/24, 6/24 correctable to 6/6 in each eye with glasses and should not be colour/night blind.

Applications are invited from unmarried Male Candidates for Enrolment as Sailors for Sailor – Senior Secondary Recruits (SSR) – 1/2011 Batch. Course Commencing 31 January 2011.
- Age : Candidates to be born between 31/01/1990 and 30/01/1994; both dates inclusive
- Educational Qualifications : 10+2 (equivalent qualified with compulsory subjects Maths, and Physics, optional subjects Chemistry/ Biology/Computers.
Pay : During the initial training period they will be paid Rs.5700/-PM, on completion of initial training they will be posted in the regular pay scale of Rs.5200-20200 plus Grade Pay Rs.2000/- plus MSP Rs.2000/- plus allowances as admissible.
