Applications are invited from unmarried male Indian citizens for grant of Permanent Commission (PC) in Naval Armament Inspection Cadre of Executive Branch of the Indian Navy for Course commencing January 2011.


Eligibility Conditions:

  • Age : Between 19 and 1/2 to 25 years (candidates to be born between 02 July 1986 to 01 January 1991; both dates inclusive)

Educational Qualifications : Any of the following 

  1. BE/B.Tech. in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical from an instituttion recognised by AICTE.
  2. Post Graduate Degree in Electronics / Physics from a recognised university.

Physical Standards : Hight and Wieght : Minimum height – 157 cms. The minimum acceptable visIon standard for distant vision 6/60, 6/60 correctable to 6/6, 6/12 with glasses. Should not be colour blind.

Application are inivted from unmarried Men and Women candidates for SSC in Air Traffic Control Cadre of Executive Branch course commencing January 2011 at Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala.

Eligibility Conditions:

  • Age : Between 19-1/2 to 25 years (candidates to be born between 02 January 1986 to 01 July 1991 both dates inclusive)
  • Educational Qualifications : Science Graduate with minimum 60% marks in Physics, Mathematics or Electronics OR Post Graduate in Science with minimum 55% marks in Physics, Mathematics or Electronics. (Those who have not complete their Degree, need not apply).

Pay Scale : PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs.5400 + MSP Rs.6000

Physical Standards : Hight and Wieght : Minimum height Male – 157 cms, Female – 152 cms with correlated weight. Eye Sight – The minimum acceptable standard for distant vision 6/6, 6/9 correctable to 6/6, 6/6 with glasses and should not be colour/night blind.

Eligibility Conditions:

  • Age : Between 19 to 24 years (candidates to be born between 02 July 1987 to 01 July 1992; both dates inclusive)
  • Educational Qualifications : Applicant should be studying in AICTE approved College/Institution with one of the following disciplines and should have obtained a minimum of 60% aggregate marks till pre final year (Those in the final years need not apply)

Applications are invited from unmarried Male Candidates for Enrolment as Sailors for Sailor – Senior Secondary Recruits (SSR) – 1/2011 Batch. Course Commencing 31 January 2011.

  • Age : Candidates to be born between 31/01/1990 and 30/01/1994; both dates inclusive
  • Educational Qualifications : 10+2 (equivalent qualified with compulsory subjects Maths, and Physics, optional subjects Chemistry/ Biology/Computers.

Pay : During the initial training period they will be paid Rs.5700/-PM, on completion of initial training they will be posted in the regular pay scale of Rs.5200-20200 plus Grade Pay Rs.2000/- plus MSP Rs.2000/- plus allowances as admissible.

Selection Criteria : Selection of recruits is based on the order of merit on their performance in Written Test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and fitness in the Medical Examinations.
How to Apply: Application Forms, in accordance with the prescribed format, and complete in all respects should be sent through Ordinary Post only with the type of entry, choice of centre and percentage of marks in 10+2 is to be clearly written on top of the envelope containing the application. Envelope should be brown colour with attested documents, two self-addressed envelopes of size 22×10 cms with Rs.10/- stamp affixed on one envelope to the different Post Box addresses in New Delhi depending on the examination centre. The list of such centres is available in the detailed advertisement.
Last Date : Last date of receiving the application is 16th July 2010. For far-flung areas the last date is 23rd July 2010.
