Applications are invited from unmarried Male and Female Indian Citizens for Short Service Commission (SSC) Officer as Observer in Aviation Cadre of Executive Branch of the Indian Navy for Course commencing July 2011 at Naval Academy.
Eligibility Conditions:
Age : Between 21 to 23 years (candidates to be born between 02 July 1988 to 01 July 1992; both dates inclusive)
Educational Qualifications : (a) A Graduate Degree in any discipline with an aggregate of 65% marks with Physics and Mathematics as main subjects at 10+2 level.
SSC : Short Service Commission is granted for a term of 10 years, extendable to 14 years, subject to service requirements and performance/willingness of the candidate.

Eligibility Conditions:
Age : Between 19 & 1/2 to 25 years (candidates to be born between 02 Jul 1986 to 01 Jan 1992; both dates inclusive)
Educational Qualifications : Any of the following (a) A Science Graduate with Physics & Mathematics with minimum 60% marks from a recognised university (b) BE/B.Tech. with min. 60% marks in aggregate in any discipline (c) Scince Graduate (Physcis & Mathematics) from a recognised university holding NCC Naval Wing , Senior Div. ‘C’ Certificate (d) Graduate/Post Graduate in Operations Analysis and Operational Research/ Quantitative methods with minimum 75% marks. (e) Graduate/ Post Graduate in Mathematics with Probability or Statistics with minimum 75% marks
Physical Standards : Height and Wieght : Minimum height Male – 157 cms with correlated weight. , Eye Sight : The minimum acceptable vision standard for distant vision 6/12, 6/12 correctable to 6/6, 6/6 with glasses. Should not be colour/night blind.
Pay Scale : PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs.5400 and MSP Rs.6000

- Educational Qualifications : Science Graduate with minimum 60% marks in Physics, Mathematics or Electronics OR Post Graduate in Science with minimum 55% marks in Physics, Mathematics or Electronics. (Those who have not complete their Degree, need not apply).
