Applications are invited for the following posts under the time bound Extramural Research Projects implemented by the Regional Medical Research Centre, NE Region, (ICMR), Dibrugarh
1. Project Manager – 1 Post
Salary Rs.50, 000/- p.m (Consolidated).
Qualification: -
Essential: M.D or equivalent in Public Heath/ Community Medicine or PhD in Social Science/Population science/Bio-statistics.
Desirable: Qualification in Administration / Management, 5 years experience in the managerial position in reputed organization working on health related research, experience in public health, sexual and reproductive health and field of HIV/AIDS. Preferences will be given to the candidates having proficiency in scientific writing as evident by publication of scientific paper, scientific reports etc
Age: Below 45 years.
2. Research Associate – 1 Post
Salary Rs.23,000/-p.m (Consolidated).
Qualification:
Essential; Post graduation in Social Science/ Epidemiology/ Social work or MBBS degree. Candidates should have at least 3 years experiences as demonstrated by implanting surveys or field activities.
Desirable: Experience in the field of HIV/AIDS at community level and working with NGOs. Monitoring the data entry and guiding data analysis by using statistical software. Preferences will be given to the candidates having proficiency in scientific writing as evident by publication of scientific paper, scientific reports etc
Age: Below 35 years.
3. Project Officer (Administration) - 1 post
Salary Rs.20,000/-p.m(Consolidated).
Qualification -
Essential: – Post graduate in any subject. Preference will be given to candidate having post graduate qualification in personnel management / human resource development/ business management.
Desirable: Familiarity with working in government organization on development aspect of HIV/AIDS. Candidate should be well versed with government procedures of administration, Ability to work independently and as a team player in a complex environment.
Age: Below 35 years.
4. Senior Research Officer (Medical) - 1 Post
Salary Rs.25,875/-p.m+ HRA as per rules (Consolidated)
Qualification: MBBS with 4 years research/clinical/teaching experience in recognized institute.
Desirable: (i) MD in related discipline, (ii) Post doctoral research/teaching experience in relevant subject (iii) Knowledge of Computer application.
Age: Below 40 Years.
5. Research Officer (Medical) – 3 Posts
Salary Rs.20,700/-p.m+ HRA as per rules (Consolidated)
Qualification: MBBS/ DPH/ MD(PSM) with 2 years research/teaching experience
Desirable: (i) Knowledge of Computer application and good writing skills.
Age: Below 35 years.
6. Research Scientist (NM) - 1 Post
Salary Rs.16,560/-p.m+ HRA as per rules (Consolidated)
Qualification: M.Sc with 1st class in Microbiology/ M.V Sc. from recognized Institute
Desirable: (i) P.hd in related discipline, (ii) Two years research/teaching experience in virology,
(iii) Knowledge of Computer application.
Age: Below 35 years.
7. Statistician – 1 Post
Salary Rs.13,455/- p.m (Consolidated)
Qualification:
MSc in Statistics/ Master of Population Science.
Desirable: Knowledge of statistical software including SPSS.
Age: Below 28 years.
8. Field Worker – 3 Posts
Salary Rs.8,280/- p.m (Consolidated)
Qualification: B.Sc in Biological Science/ Social Sciences
Desirable: Experience in field work.
Age: Below 28 years.
