Invites applications from unmarried Male candidates for enrolment as Sailors for Senior Secondary Recruits (SSR)-2/2010 Batch (Course Commencing 02 Aug 2010)
Applications are invited from unmarried Male Indian Citizens and male subjects of Nepal and Bhutan.
Educational Qualification: Qualified on in 10+2/ equivalent examination with Maths and Physics and atleast one of these subjects; Chemistry/ Biology/ Computer Science.
Age: Candidates should have been born between (01 Aug 1989 to 31 July 1993 both dates inclusive)
Pay : During the initial training period they will be paid Rs.5700/-PM, on completion of initial training they will be posted in the regular pay scale of Rs.5200-20200 plus Grade Pay Rs.2000/- plus MSP Rs.2000/- plus allowances as admissible.
Selection Criteria : Selection of recruits is based on the order of merit on their performance in Written Test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and fitness in the Medical Examinations.
How to Apply: Application Forms, in accordance with the prescribed format, and complete in all respects should be sent through Ordinary Post only with the type of entry, choice of centre and percentage of marks in 10+2 is to be clearly written on top of the envelope containing the application. Envelope should be brown colour with attested documents, two self-addressed envelopes of size 22×10 cms with Rs.10/- stamp affixed on one envelope to the different Post Box addresses in New Delhi depending on the examination centre.
