Central Scientific Instruments Organisation (CSIO) is one of the National Laboratories of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, a premier agency established by Government of India to undertake scientific and industrial research in the country. CSIO is devoted to Research, Design and Development of Scientific & Industrial Instruments, Sensors and Systems. The Organisation also provides technical assistance and services viz. fabrication, repair, maintenance, testing, calibration, analysis, performance evaluation of Instruments/sensors/systems and Energy Audit. Besides this, the Organisation also conducts training programmes and professional courses through its Human Resources Development Unit and Indo-Swiss Training Centre (ISTC).

HT-1 Horticulture Assistant Gr. III(1) – One Post (OBC)
PB-2 Rs. 9300-34,800 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4,200/-
Age – 31 years
Qualification - 1st Class B.Sc. in Agriculture /Forestry or its equivalent OR 1st Class Diploma in Horticulture of Three years duration (full time) Candidate having higher qualification / or 2/3 years relevant experience will be preferred.
LS-1 Laboratory Supervisor Gr.III(1) ) – One Post (UR)
PB-2 Rs. 9300-34,800 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4,200/-
Age – 28 years
Qualification – 1st Class B.Sc. (Science) or full time Diploma in Mechanical Engineering of three years duration Should have experience in Supervision and Maintenance of Office/Laboratory/premises and its upkeep/cleanliness, maintenance of inventory/office fixtures/furniture of the Institute, knowledge and experience in handling fire fighting equipment and its maintenance.
NS-1 Nursing Sister, Gr.II(1) - One Post (UR)
PB-1 Rs. 5,200-20,200 with Grade Pay of Rs. 1900
Age – 28 years
Qualification - Matriculation/SSLC or equivalent with 50% marks and Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery of three years full Work experience as Nurse in registered Hospital/ Nursing Home. Knowledge of handling medical equipments including The incumbent to the position is required to render assistance to the Senior Medical Officer and Lady Medical Officer of the CSIO Dispensary in providing nursing care time duration from recognized Institute. The candidate (female) must be registered with the respective State
Nursing Councils in India.
DR-1 Driver (Non-Tech.) – One Post (UR)
PB-1 Rs. 5,200-20,200 with Grade Pay of Rs. 1900/-
Age – 28 years
Qualification – 10th Class pass or its equivalent with 5 years driving experience in LMV/HMV & well versed in driving light/heavy Vehicle.
