Junior Research Fellow in Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (ISRO)
The Indian Institute of Remote Sensing invites applications for the post of Junior Research Fellow for a period of three years.
1. Modeling land Subsidence - 01 Post
- Qualification : Post Graduate Degree. in Geology/Applied Geology/ Geophysics / Physics / Mathematics with at least two subjects from Mathematics / Physics / Geology at graduate level. Candidates with Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Remote Sensing / Geoinformatics from reputed university / institute in India will be preferred.
2. Snow/Glacier Studies - : 01 Post
- Qualification : B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering/Computer Sciences/Electronics or M.Sc./M.Tech. in Geophysics / Physics/Mathematics. Knowledge of computer programming
3. Hydrological modeling in Ganga Basin (Climate Change Project) - 02 Posts
- Qualification : B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engg. or M.Sc/M.Sc.(Tech)/ M.Tech. in Geology/Applied Geology or M.Sc.(Agriculure) in Soil Science/Agronomy or M.Sc. in Geography
4. Sea Level rise and salt water ingress (Climate Change Project) - 01 Post
- Qualification : M.Sc./M.Sc.(Tech)/M.Tech. in Marine Science / Geology / Applied Geology.
5. Rainfall thresholds for landslides (DMSP Project) - 01 Post
- Qualification : M.Sc./M.Sc.(Tech)/M.Tech. in Geology/Applied Geology/Geophysics
Fellowship : Rs. 12,000/- per month + HRA @20% + Medical as per rule
