IGIB provides a unique interdisciplinary environment wherein scientists enjoy a mix of individual freedom and collective scientific support to carry out research of international quality. The Institute plans to induct a cumulative maximum of ten researchers in any of the following areas:
- Scientist-EI Group IV (3)
- Pay-Scale: Rs15600-39100 (PB-3) with Grade Pay of Rs7600/- (Total monthly emoluments will be Rs.50,400/- approx.)
- Essential Qualifications: PhD with 4 (Four) years of postdoctoral experience OR MD with 5 (Five) years relevant experience.
- Scientist-C Group IV (2)
- Pay-Scale: Rs15600-39100 (PB-3) with Grade Pay of Rs.6600/- (Total monthly emoluments will Rs.44,000/- approx.)
- Age limit: 35 years
- Essential Qualifications: PhD with 1 (One) year postdoctoral experience or MD with 2 (two) years relevant experience.
