SMVDU, Technical University of J&K legislature is a fully residential institution set up on the pattern of IITs. The University has established 10 Academic Schools to impart UG, PG and Ph. D. Level education. Applications are invited for faculty positions at the following level:
- Professor: Pay Scale : Rs.37400-67000 with Grade Pay Rs.10000/-,
- Associate Professor: Pay Scale : Rs.37400-67000 with Grade Pay Rs.9000/-
- Assistant Professor : Pay Scale : Rs.15600-39100 with Grade Pay Rs.8000/-
- Lecturer : Rs.15600-39100 grade pay Rs.6000
Qualification : Ph.D. degree with high CGPA or first class degree at Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the appropriate branch of Economics/ English/ Architecture, with a very good academic record throughout. For Architecture Degree, however, M.Arch./ B. Arch. candidates can be considered with experience appropriate for the posts.
Experience : Professor – at least 10 years out of which 5 years must be at the level of Associate Professor or equivalent., Associate Professor – at least 8 years out of which 5 years must be at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent, Lecturer – In Engineering subjects M.Tec. den be considered for appointment.
