In order to strengthen its coaching activities Sports Authority of Gujarat invites qualified coaches to be appointed on 11 month contract basis on a monthly fixed remuneration of Rs.15000/- in games like
Athletics, Swimming, Handball, Kabaddi-Kho-Kho, Volleyball, Football, Judo, Badminton, Wrestling, Table tennis, Gymnastics, Basketball, Cricket, Lawn Tennis, Hockey, Archery.
Age – Not more than 35 Years
The candidates shall have to remain present for interview at their own cost at the office of Senior Coach, Regional Coaching Centre, Sports Complex, Khokhara, opposite Rukshmaniben Hospital, Maninagar, Ahmedabad-380008 at 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Dt.2nd August 2010 and 3rd August 2010 with application and complete bio-data with 2 passport size photographs and original as well as Photostat copies of all certificate/documents.

Job description: The selected candidate will have to build and lead a group in the area of membrane and polymer applications to harness more effectively the Institute’s S&T capabilities in this area. Understanding of customer needs and devising innovative solutions will be a key component of this job. The candidate will have to work in close coordination with the membrane science and engineering groups to evolve new technology platforms. Garnering project funds, man management and technology licensing would be additional responsibilities.
Essential Educational Qualification and Experience: Ph. D in Polymer/Membrane Science with minimum 10 years of additional research experience in polymer materials, of which at least 5 years must be in a leadership role. Deep scientific insight and flair for innovation are essential and candidate must provide evidence of independent research publications and technology development based on fundamental principles.
Desirable: Experience in an industrial research outfit is desirable.
