Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur an Institute of national importance, has been in the forefront of engineering & technology education and research & development. The Institute’s R&D Division is looking for suitable Indian nationals for appointment on the following positions for short-term R&D Projects on contractual basis. The positions are co-terminus with the project duration or earlier.

For National Wind Tunnel Facility (NWTF): Project No-IITK/NWTF/19990224

Research Engineer (Grade II): 1 Post
Pay: PB-3 Rs. 15600-39100 Grade Pay of Rs. 5400 [Total approx emoluments: Rs.30,870/- + Transport Allowance as applicable]
Qualification: M.Tech or B.Tech +2 year experience or MCA/M.Sc +4 year experience in the relevant area.
Age: below 40 years Specialization in the areas.

Engineer (Grade I): 1 Post

IIT Kanpur invites is looking for suitable Indian Nationals for appointment on the following posts:

Executive Engineer (Civil): 01 Post
Pay: PB-3:Rs.15600-39100 with Grade Pay of Rs.6600.
Qualification: A 1st Class Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. A minimum of 8 years experience in Civil Works viz. construction and maintenance of multi –storey RCC framed structure buildings and roads, public health engineering services and works such as water supply and drainage disposal appropriate to a township. Out of the above at least 05 years experience should be in a responsible position. The candidates having experience in CPWD procedures, knowledge of computer application and structural design would be preferred.

Assistant Executive Engineer (Electrical): 01 Post
Pay: PB-3:Rs.15600-39100 with Grade Pay of Rs.5400.
Qualification: A 1st Class Bachelor Degree or equivalent in the field of electrical engineering having relevant experience of three years. Desirable : The Candidate having experience in construction and maintenance of H.T. and L.T. lines ,internal electrification of building shall be preferred
