Applications are invited from unmarried Male Indian Citizens for  Permanent  Commission (PC) Officer in Education Branch of the Indian Navy for Course commencing July-2011 at NAVAC, INS Zamorin Ezhimala, Kerala.

Age : Between 21 to 25 years (candidates to be born between 02 July 1986 to 01 July 1990; both dates inclusive)

Educational Qualifications : (a) Mech./BE/B.Tech. with 60% marks in Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Electrical and Instrumentaion/ Electrical Engineering/ Computer Sc. & Engineering/ IT/ Mechanical Engineering OR A degree with 50% marks or equivalent in any of the following M.Sc. (Physics) (wih Maths in Maths in B.Sc.), M.Sc. Maths (with Physics in B.Sc.), M.Sc. (OR/ Analysis), M.Tech/ M.Sc. (Meterology/ Oceanography). Those who are in the final years, need not apply.

Physical Standards : Height and Weight : Minimum height Male – 157 cms with correlated weight. Eye Sight – The minimum acceptable standard for distant vision 6/60, 6/60 connectable to 6/6, 6/12 with glasses and should not be colour/night blind.

SSC : Short Service Commission is granted for a term of 10 years, extendable to 14 years, subject to service requirements and performance/willingness of the candidate.

Eligibility Conditions:

Educational Qualifications : Any of the following

BE/B.Tech. in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical from an instituttion recognised by AICTE.
