Recruitment to the post of Junior Intelligence Officer Grade-II/ MT and SA/MT 2010

Applications are invited from eligible Indian Citizens for the post of Junior Intelligence Officer Grade-II/ Motor Transport, and SA/MT Group ‘C’ non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial in the Intelligene Bureau (IB) (MHA), Government of India. The selected candidates will be required to drive any kind of motor vehicle and will also be responsible for its upkeep.

Junior Intelligence Officer/MT : 140 posts (UR-102,OBC-26,SC-12)

• Pay Scale : PB-1 Rs.5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs.2400
• Qualification : Candidates must be Matriculation passed or equivalent (ii) Possession of valid driving license for motor cars. (iii) Knowledge of motor mechanism (iv) Experience for driving a motor car for at least 3 years.
• Age : Not more than 32 years. Age relaxation to 5 years to SC/ST, 3 years to OBC candidates.

SA/MT : 48 posts (UR-35,OBC-8,SC-4, ST-1)

• Pay Scale : PB-1 Rs.5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs.2000
• Qualification : Candidates must be Matriculation passed or equivalent (ii) Possession of valid driving license for Light Motor Vehicle of Motor Cycle
• Age : Not more than 3 0years. Age relaxation to 5 years to SC/ST, 3 years to OBC candidates.

Closing Date : The last date of submitting application is 7th September 2010.

Selection Process : Candidate will be called for a test of motor mechanism and driving test followed by an interview at selected places to be decided by the Bureau.

How to Apply : Application forms filled up either in English or Hindi only on a plain white paper of size 21 1/2 x 33 cms in the prescribed format should be sent through ordinary posts only at the designated addresses upto last date. The envelope containing the application must be superscribed in bold letters as “Application to the post of JIO-II/MT in IB”

• JIO – II (EDP): 08 Posts
  • Pay: Rs. 5200-20200 + Rs. 2400 GP
  • Qualification:
    
    • 12 Pass or equivalent.
    • Training in Computer Operations for, atleast, three months and possess a speed of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour for data entry work.
• Laboratory Assistant: 24 Posts
  • Pay: Rs. 5200-20200 + Rs. 2000 GP
  • Qualification: Matriculation with two years pass certificate in Radio Technician or Communication or Computer or Electronics or Electrical from Industrial Training Institute recognized by the Government.
• Senior Mechanic: 06 Posts
  • Pay: Rs. 5200-20200 + Rs. 1900 GP
  • Qualification: Matriculation with two years pass certificate in Fitter or Automobile or Electrical or Carpentry from Industrial Training Institute recognized by the Government.

Age : 18-27 years
